The Courtyard Marriott Hotel contribute one hundred fifty (150) rooms to the current number of rooms available to house the country's visitors. Its development was born out of the launching of the Expression of Interest for hotel developers in 2021, and it satisfies the government's objective to add 2000 hotel rooms to the country.
Cardinal Investments is constructing the six-story hotel on 2.5 acres of government-leased land near the country's main airport and Timehri roundabout. This hotel, located just a minute away from the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, is intended to lodge a wide range of people, from airline crews and diplomats to tourists. It is expected to satisfy the growing needs of the nation's tourism industry, which is experiencing more connecting flights as well as regional and international conventions and general visits.
